4Media PowerPoint to Flash is an application to convert your presentation files created in Microsoft PowerPoint to FLV format.
The program runs as a plug-in in Microsoft PowerPoint and will appear as a menu, working with which you will be able to perform all the actions. Before converting a presentation you will be allowed to adjust the output file settings: its size, video frame rate, and image quality. You will even be offered to password protect your file, by simply entering and confirming a password. Audio sample rate and bitrate are also adjustable. The application also lets you either keep the original animation timing of your presentation, or trigger all animations at mouse click; and add time delay to slide duration.
After adjusting all the settings and clicking on the Convert option you will see a window offering you to enter the output file name and its destination folder. Also you will be able to choose the conversion mode: the program may generate a single swf. file while conversion, or create multiple flash files, - each for a slide. After the conversion is finished you will be offered to view the flash file online, or open the output folder and view the file on your PC player.
The program is not free, and is rather costly I should say. Unfortunately, when testing its trial version I never managed to hear the sound when playing the output file. So, I suggest that you test it yourself before making a decision whether to buy it or not.
